Well, this is topical! So much media recently regarding the 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing, thought I'd show this today, Neil Armstrong himself gave me this commemorative medal in 2010. (The engraving is on the edge). I had a 3-day exhibition in Los Angeles, and the hotel next to the gallery was holding their annual NASA convention.
I'm not claiming it's the actual medal the President gave him. I reckon he had a box of these copies and he gave them away to people who pestered him, just to get rid of them. Anyway, it must have worked - I pestered him, and he got rid of me!
